Another 2 months in kannada-land, and a lot has changed since I first got here. It’s almost 12 tonight, and tomorrow is a working day. A nice little weekend messed up because of our faithful devotion to Indian democracy, the 2009 elections. That leaves me with just about enough energy now to jot down these.
- Change sucks. But having to deal with it sucks more.
- Good show on Bangalore weather. Madras was crazy hot. Welcome the recent showers here.
- Made some new friends. Some that go “Wazzaaaa!” and some from Australia.
- Running regularly. Surprised that I set my minimum to 5 km for every run.
- People loving the coffee I make, making me feel I’m worth something.
- On a somewhat dangerous self-identifying mission. It’s frightening. Every conclusion points to me wanting to move to Amsterdam to start a new life, or seek peace in the mountains in the East.
- High on Brad Sucks, concluded that Brad doesn’t suck one bit.
I realized writing about things in detail doesn’t make sense even though I love the emotional engagement of story telling (it’s a design thing); making it concise makes all the world’s problems seem smaller. (Courtesy Siddhu for the tip). Back to the drawing board.
