Bangalore/Bengalooru.

City lights are always seen as streaks of red or yellow. It’s one of those 2 second moments you will have when you stare across a street and wonder, only that by the time you finish you would’ve forgotten what it was. In my opinion, city life here is something very different, a fusion of different cultures and lifestyles; yet… interesting. (Sigh, I’m already exhausted thinking about the *number of cars* on the streets).

I’d been to the city just to experience this, more specifically to see for myself how it feels like to move around there. Traffic is something I just cannot tolerate, and I could feel the strain on my feet as soon as I sat in a cab. But heck, that’s how it’s supposed to be there with *all* our population and all that. (!)

To make things more interesting, I got into one of the first fuel-station jams in the city, the first jam in Bangalore. The truckers’ strike resulted in every bunk in town going empty, with long queues of vehicles stacked up for hours just to fill up enough fuel to return home. I was there for two full hours, it was amazing to hear kannada swear-words every 10 seconds!

Looks like we need to move to the moon after all, pretty soon. Hopefully, in my time, I wish to see that happen! :-)
